WDR48 (WD repeat domain 48), also known as UAF1 or USP1-associated factor 1. is a highly conserved protein encoded by the *WDR48* gene in humans. Belonging to the WD40 repeat protein family, it contains multiple WD40 repeats—structural motifs that facilitate scaffolding for protein-protein interactions. WDR48 plays a regulatory role in diverse cellular processes, notably through its interaction with deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) like USP1. USP12. and USP46.
