The COL9A3 antibody targets the alpha-3 chain of type IX collagen, a critical component of extracellular matrices in cartilage and other connective tissues. Type IX collagen, a heterotrimer formed by α1(IX), α2(IX), and α3(IX) chains encoded by COL9A1.
