背景信息

The GORASP2 (Golgi Reassembly and Stacking Protein 2) antibody is a tool used to detect and study the GORASP2 protein, a key component of the Golgi apparatus. Also known as GRASP55. GORASP2 is one of two paralogs (with GORASP1/GRASP65) in the GRASP family, which play critical roles in maintaining Golgi structure and facilitating vesicle-mediated protein trafficking. GORASP2 is localized to the medial- and trans-Golgi cisternae, where it acts as a scaffolding protein to organize membrane stacking and support Golgi integrity during interphase.
