The SLC7A8 antibody targets the solute carrier family 7 member 8 (SLC7A8), a protein encoded by the *SLC7A8* gene in humans. SLC7A8. also known as LAT2 (L-type amino acid transporter 2), is a sodium-independent neutral amino acid transporter belonging to the heteromeric amino acid transporter (HAT) family. It forms a functional heterodimer with SLC3A2 (CD98hc) via a disulfide bond, enabling its cell surface expression and activity.
