稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息
BAFF (B-cell activating factor), also known as TNFSF13B, is a critical cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily that plays a vital role in B-cell development, activation, and survival. Dysregulation of BAFF levels has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as in certain B-cell malignancies. Understanding the structure and function of BAFF is essential for developing targeted therapies aimed at modulating immune responses. Research on recombinant BAFF proteins has gained momentum as these proteins can facilitate the investigation of BAFF's biological activities and mechanisms of action. Additionally, recombinant BAFF can be used as a tool for in vitro assays to explore B-cell signaling pathways and as a potential therapeutic agent to enhance or inhibit B-cell responses in various clinical settings. The generation of well-characterized recombinant BAFF proteins is pivotal for elucidating the cytokine's role in the immune system and for advancing novel treatments for B-cell-related disorders. Recent studies have focused on the production, purification, and functional characterization of these proteins, paving the way for better understanding of their implications in health and disease.
