TRIM44 (Tripartite Motif-containing Protein 44) is a member of the TRIM protein family, characterized by conserved RING, B-box, and coiled-coil domains. While lacking a canonical RING domain, TRIM44 retains structural similarities to other TRIM proteins, which are involved in diverse cellular processes such as ubiquitination, transcriptional regulation, and antiviral responses.
