ERp72 (endoplasmic reticulum protein 72), also known as PDIA4 (Protein Disulfide Isomerase Family A Member 4), is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) family. It is primarily localized in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and plays a critical role in protein folding and quality control by catalyzing the formation, isomerization, and reduction of disulfide bonds.
