背景信息

BCL6 (B-cell lymphoma 6) is a transcriptional repressor protein encoded by the *BCL6* gene, primarily expressed in germinal center B-cells and certain T-cell subsets. It plays a critical role in regulating lymphocyte differentiation, immune response, and lymphomagenesis. BCL6 suppresses genes involved in DNA damage response, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis, enabling germinal center B-cells to undergo rapid proliferation and somatic hypermutation without triggering stress-induced cell death. Dysregulation of BCL6. due to chromosomal translocations, mutations, or overexpression, is strongly associated with B-cell malignancies, particularly diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and follicular lymphoma.
