背景信息

SALL4 is a transcription factor belonging to the SAL-like protein family, characterized by zinc finger domains that regulate gene expression during embryonic development. It plays a critical role in maintaining pluripotency in embryonic stem cells and primordial germ cells. Postnatally, SALL4 expression is largely restricted, but it is aberrantly reactivated in various cancers, making it a valuable oncofetal marker.

The SALL4 antibody is widely used in diagnostic pathology to detect SALL4 protein expression via immunohistochemistry (IHC).
