稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息
CD99, also known as MIC2, is a membrane protein that plays a significant role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and immune response. Initially identified as a marker for Ewing's sarcoma, CD99 has garnered attention due to its involvement in T-cell activation and its expression in several hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Research has demonstrated that CD99 influences leukocyte trafficking and can modulate intracellular signaling pathways, thus impacting tumor progression and metastasis. The development of recombinant CD99 proteins offers a valuable tool for studying its functional properties and therapeutic potential. By generating these proteins, researchers aim to explore CD99's role in immune modulation, investigate its interactions with other cell surface molecules, and evaluate its capability as a potential target for novel immunotherapeutic strategies. Moreover, understanding the structural and biochemical characteristics of recombinant CD99 may provide insights into its mechanism of action and contribute to the design of CD99-based fusion proteins or monoclonal antibodies, enhancing treatment options for patients with CD99-expressing tumors. This ongoing research highlights the importance of CD99 in both cancer biology and immunology, paving the way for innovative approaches to harness its properties for improved disease management.
