ZBTB16 (Zinc Finger and BTB Domain Containing 16), also known as promyelocytic leukemia zinc finger (PLZF), is a transcription factor encoded by the ZBTB16 gene in humans. It belongs to the BTB/POZ (Bric-a-brac, Tramtrack, Broad-Complex/Poxvirus and Zinc Finger) protein family, characterized by an N-terminal BTB domain involved in protein-protein interactions and C-terminal zinc finger motifs mediating DNA binding.
