简介
ANGPTL2/angiopoietin-like 2 protein takes center stage as it induces endothelial cell sprouting through dual autocrine and paracrine mechanisms. This ability underscores its critical role in angiogenesis, where balanced signaling events control the formation of new blood vessels. ANGPTL2/Angiopoietin-like 2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived ANGPTL2/Angiopoietin-like 2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息
ANGPTL2, or angiopoietin-like protein 2, is a member of the angiopoietin-like family, which plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including metabolism, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases. It is primarily secreted by adipose tissue and has been implicated in metabolic disorders such as obesity and insulin resistance. Elevated levels of ANGPTL2 in the bloodstream correlate with adverse metabolic outcomes and inflammatory responses, making it a potential biomarker for conditions like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Research on recombinant ANGPTL2 protein has focused on elucidating its biological functions and mechanisms of action, providing insights into its role in cellular signaling and the regulation of energy homeostasis. Investigating the effects of ANGPTL2 not only contributes to our understanding of metabolic disease pathogenesis but also offers potential therapeutic avenues for targeting this molecule in the treatment of obesity-related disorders. The development of recombinant ANGPTL2 proteins has enabled various experimental studies, including the assessment of its impact on cell proliferation, migration, and inflammation, which are critical for developing strategies to modulate its activity in metabolic diseases. This research advances the understanding of the interconnectedness between ANGPTL2 and key metabolic pathways, highlighting its relevance in therapeutic contexts. As a result, ANGPTL2 represents a promising target for novel therapies aiming to combat metabolic syndromes, providing a compelling area for further investigation in both basic research and clinical applications.
