背景信息

Recombinant human IL-17 receptor (IL-17R) protein is a biologically active form of the interleukin-17 receptor, a key mediator in inflammatory and autoimmune signaling. IL-17R belongs to the Type I transmembrane receptor family, primarily expressed on epithelial, endothelial, and immune cells. Structurally, it contains extracellular fibronectin III-like domains critical for ligand binding, a single transmembrane helix, and a conserved cytoplasmic SEF/IL-17R (SEFIR) domain essential for downstream signaling.

IL-17R interacts with pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-17A and IL-17F, secreted by Th17 cells, to activate pathways like NF-κB and MAPK. This triggers the production of chemokines (e.g., CXCL1. CXCL8) and antimicrobial peptides, amplifying neutrophil recruitment and tissue inflammation.
