The DUSP13 antibody is a research tool designed to detect and study dual-specificity phosphatase 13 (DUSP13), a member of the dual-specificity phosphatase (DUSP) family. DUSP13. also known as TMDP (testis-specific mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase) or MDSP (muscle-specific dual-specificity phosphatase), regulates mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways by dephosphoryulating both tyrosine and serine/threonine residues. This enzyme plays roles in cellular processes such as stress response, differentiation, and apoptosis. Two isoforms, DUSP13A and DUSP13B, are expressed in a tissue-specific manner, with DUSP13A predominantly found in testes and DUSP13B in skeletal muscle.
