The MRC2 (Mannose Receptor C-Type 2), also known as CD206 or macrophage mannose receptor, is a transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells. It plays a key role in endocytosis, antigen presentation, and immune modulation by recognizing glycoproteins with terminal mannose, fucose, or N-acetylglucosamine residues.
