Rabbit Polyclonal NXF3(N-Term) Antibody

The NXF3 (Nuclear RNA Export Factor 3) antibody targets the N-terminal region of the NXF3 protein, a member of the NXF family involved in mRNA nuclear export. NXF3 is less characterized compared to its well-studied paralogs, NXF1 (TAP) and NXF2. but shares structural features, including a conserved NTF2-like domain and leucine-rich repeats. While NXF1 is a key mediator of bulk mRNA export via interactions with the TREX complex, NXF3 appears to have specialized roles, potentially in tissue-specific or developmental contexts. Studies suggest NXF3 is highly expressed in germ cells and may function in gametogenesis or early embryogenesis. Its expression has also been linked to certain cancers, including germ cell tumors, though its oncogenic mechanisms remain unclear. The NXF3 (N-Term) antibody is commonly used in techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, or immunoprecipitation to study endogenous NXF3 localization, expression levels, or interactions. Its specificity for the N-terminal region allows detection of full-length protein or distinct isoforms.
