The RSKB (MSK2) (C-term R321) antibody is designed to detect the C-terminal region of mitogen- and stress-activated protein kinase 2 (MSK2), a serine/threonine kinase encoded by the RPS6KA4 gene. MSK2. along with MSK1. belongs to the AGC kinase family and is activated downstream of the ERK/p38 MAPK pathways in response to mitogens, stress, or growth factors. It plays a key role in phosphorylating transcription factors (e.g., CREB, NF-κB) and histone H3. linking extracellular signals to chromatin remodeling and gene expression regulation. The antibody targets residues near Arg321 in the C-terminal kinase domain, a region critical for substrate recognition and regulatory interactions. It is commonly used in Western blotting, immunofluorescence, or immunoprecipitation to study MSK2’s expression, activation, or localization in human, mouse, or rat samples.
