The IGF2BP1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 2 mRNA-Binding Protein 1) antibody is a tool used to detect and study the IGF2BP1 protein, a member of the conserved RNA-binding protein family involved in post-transcriptional gene regulation. IGF2BP1. also known as IMP1 or ZBP1. contains KH domains that enable binding to target mRNAs, influencing their stability, localization, and translation. It plays critical roles in embryonic development, cell polarization, and tumorigenesis by regulating oncogenic mRNAs like MYC, IGF2. and β-catenin.
