DPS1 antibody targets the DPS1 protein, a member of the DNA protection during starvation (Dps)/ferritin-like superfamily. Initially identified in bacteria, Dps proteins are stress-induced, playing critical roles in protecting genomic DNA under oxidative stress or nutrient-limited conditions by binding DNA and sequestering iron.
