The UFM1 (Ubiquitin-fold modifier 1) antibody is a critical tool for studying the UFMylation pathway, a post-translational modification system analogous to ubiquitination. UFM1. a member of the ubiquitin-like protein family, is covalently attached to target proteins via a cascade involving E1 (UFM1-activating enzyme), E2 (UFM1-conjugating enzyme UFC1), and E3 (UFM1-specific ligase UFL1) enzymes.
