背景信息

The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C1+C2 (hnRNP C1/C2) antibody targets two closely related RNA-binding proteins, hnRNP C1 and C1/C2. which are critical components of the hnRNP complex involved in mRNA processing. These proteins, encoded by the *HNRNPC* gene, are produced through alternative splicing, resulting in two isoforms: the longer hnRNP C1 and the shorter hnRNP C2. Both isoforms share identical sequences except for a 13-amino acid insertion in C1.
