PNCK (Pregnancy-Specific Beta-1-Glycoprotein 9), also known as PSG9. belongs to the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein (PSG) family. These proteins are predominantly secreted by the placental syncytiotrophoblast during pregnancy and are detectable in maternal blood as early as the first trimester. PSGs, including PNCK, play critical roles in modulating maternal immune tolerance, promoting placental angiogenesis, and supporting fetal-maternal communication. Their expression correlates with gestational progression, peaking in the third trimester. PNCK antibodies are immunodetection tools targeting this glycoprotein, enabling research into its biological functions and clinical applications.
