**Background of Recombinant Human TSPYL1 Protein**

TSPYL1 (Testis-Specific Protein Y-Encoded-Like 1), also known as TSPY-Like 1. belongs to the TSPY/SET/NAP1L superfamily, which is involved in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation. This nucleoprotein is ubiquitously expressed in human tissues, particularly in the nucleus, where it interacts with chromatin and modulates gene expression. Structurally, TSPYL1 contains a conserved nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) domain, enabling its role in maintaining chromatin structure and epigenetic regulation.
