COPS5 (COP9 Signalosome Subunit 5), also known as CSN5 or JAB1. is a critical component of the COP9 signalosome (CSN), an evolutionarily conserved multi-protein complex involved in diverse cellular processes, including protein degradation, DNA repair, and signal transduction.
