Copine-3 (CPNE3), a member of the copine protein family, is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the *CPNE3* gene in humans. This family is characterized by two C2-like domains at the N-terminus and a VWA domain at the C-terminus, enabling interactions with cell membranes, signaling molecules, and other proteins. CPNE3 is ubiquitously expressed, with notable roles in cell differentiation, vesicular trafficking, and intracellular signal transduction.
