CDH11. a member of the classical cadherin superfamily, is a calcium-dependent transmembrane glycoprotein critical for mediating cell-cell adhesion and tissue morphogenesis. It shares the conserved cadherin-repeat extracellular domains for homophilic binding and a cytoplasmic domain that interacts with β-catenin/p120-catenin to regulate cytoskeletal dynamics and signaling.
