CD99 antigen-like protein 2 (CD99L2), also known as endothelial cell-selective adhesion molecule (ESAM), is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Ig superfamily. It is primarily expressed on vascular endothelial cells, platelets, and certain immune cells, including lymphocytes. Structurally, CD99L2 features two extracellular Ig-like domains, a single transmembrane region, and a short cytoplasmic tail.
