**Background of Recombinant Human Endosialin (CD248)**
CD248. also known as endosialin or TEM1. is a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the C-type lectin-like protein family. Primarily expressed on vascular endothelial cells, pericytes, and stromal fibroblasts during tissue development or remodeling, it is markedly upregulated in pathological conditions such as tumor angiogenesis, fibrosis, and chronic inflammation.
