CCNDBP1 (Cyclin D1-binding protein 1), also known as Hapin-1 or Grapher protein, is a cell cycle regulatory protein encoded by the human gene located on chromosome 15q22.31. Initially identified through its interaction with Cyclin D1. a key regulator of G1/S phase transition, CCNDBP1 modulates cell cycle progression by influencing Cyclin D1/CDK complex activity. Structurally, it contains a conserved homeodomain-like motif and nuclear localization signals, suggesting roles in transcriptional regulation and nuclear signaling.
