The human C1orf201 protein, encoded by the chromosome 1 open reading frame 201 gene, is a poorly characterized protein with limited functional and mechanistic data. Its gene is located on chromosome 1q24.3, and while conserved across vertebrates, its biological role remains largely unknown.
