**Background of Recombinant Human C10orf3 Protein**

The C10orf3 (chromosome 10 open reading frame 3) protein, also known as TDP2 or mitochondrial coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1 (MCCD1), is encoded by the *C10orf3* gene located on human chromosome 10q24.31.
