ORAI1 antibodies are essential tools for studying the ORAI1 protein, a critical component of calcium release-activated calcium (CRAC) channels. These channels mediate store-operated calcium entry (SOCE), a key signaling mechanism regulating immune cell activation, gene transcription, and cellular processes like proliferation and apoptosis. ORAI1. located on the plasma membrane, interacts with stromal interaction molecule 1 (STIM1) in the endoplasmic reticulum. Upon calcium store depletion, STIM1 oligomerizes and activates ORAI1. forming functional CRAC channels to replenish intracellular calcium.
