The mammalian STE20-like protein kinase 4 (MST4), also known as STK26. is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the germinal center kinase (GCK) subfamily within the STE20 kinase superfamily. It plays critical roles in regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, polarity, and migration by phosphorylating downstream targets involved in signaling pathways such as the Hippo pathway and stress-response cascades.
