Lambda light chain antibodies are specialized reagents used to detect lambda-type light chains, a component of immunoglobulins (antibodies). In humans, antibodies consist of two heavy chains and two light chains, with light chains existing as either kappa (κ) or lambda (λ) types. Approximately 40% of antibodies in healthy individuals contain lambda chains.
