Hsc70 (heat shock cognate 70 kDa protein) is a constitutively expressed member of the HSP70 (heat shock protein 70) family, functioning as a molecular chaperone involved in protein folding, intracellular trafficking, and the stabilization of misfolded proteins under stress conditions.
