  • 稳定性测试

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息

SOX5 is a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) family of transcription factors, which plays a crucial role in various developmental processes, particularly in the regulation of gene expression during embryogenesis and tissue differentiation. It is known for its involvement in the development of the central nervous system, cartilage formation, and the regulation of pluripotent stem cell maintenance. Research on SOX5 has garnered attention due to its implications in several diseases, including congenital disorders and cancers. Abnormal expression of SOX5 has been linked to conditions such as schizophrenia and certain types of brain tumors, making it a valuable target for therapeutic intervention. Moreover, SOX5's ability to interact with other transcription factors and regulatory proteins underscores its complex role in gene regulatory networks. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of SOX5 in a manageable form, facilitating structural and functional studies. By generating SOX5 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to explore the precise mechanisms by which SOX5 regulates gene expression and interacts with other cellular pathways. This research is essential for understanding the role of SOX5 in health and disease and could potentially lead to novel strategies for diagnosis and treatment, particularly in developmental and neurological disorders. The ongoing investigation into SOX5's functions and interactions emphasizes its importance in biological research, contributing valuable insights into the molecular basis of various physiological and pathological processes.
