Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group D member 1 (NR1D1), also known as REV-ERBα, is a ligand-regulated transcription factor belonging to the nuclear receptor superfamily. NR1D1 functions as a transcriptional repressor by binding to ROR response elements (RORE) in target gene promoters, competing with ROR family activators.
