背景信息

The glutathione S-transferase theta 2B (GSTT2B) antibody is a tool used to study the GSTT2B protein, a member of the glutathione S-transferase (GST) family involved in detoxification and cellular protection. GST enzymes catalyze the conjugation of glutathione to xenobiotics, facilitating their elimination. The theta class (GSTT), including GSTT2B, is primarily associated with metabolism of halogenated compounds and reactive oxygen species.
