背景信息

The killer cell lectin-like receptor F1 (KLRF1), also known as NKp80. is a type II transmembrane protein predominantly expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and subsets of T cells. As a activating receptor, KLRF1 plays a critical role in regulating NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity and cytokine production. It interacts with its ligand, activation-induced C-type lectin (AICL), to enhance NK cell activation and target cell killing. This receptor-ligand axis is essential for immune surveillance against infected or malignant cells and modulates crosstalk between innate and adaptive immunity.

KLRF1 antibodies are valuable tools for studying NK cell biology and receptor functionality. They are widely used in flow cytometry to identify and isolate NK cell populations, as well as in immunohistochemistry to assess tissue-specific NK cell infiltration.
