The INTS6 (N-Term) antibody targets the N-terminal region of Integrator Complex Subunit 6 (INTS6), a protein component of the Integrator complex. This evolutionarily conserved multi-subunit complex is associated with RNA polymerase II and plays diverse roles in RNA processing, including the 3' end maturation of small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs) and transcription termination of select genes. INTS6. also known as DDX26B or DICE1. is implicated in transcriptional regulation, DNA damage response, and tumor suppression. Studies suggest its involvement in modulating Wnt/β-catenin signaling and repressing telomerase activity, linking it to cancer progression and cellular senescence.
The N-terminal region of INTS6 contains critical functional domains that mediate protein-protein interactions within the Integrator complex. Antibodies targeting this region are valuable tools for studying INTS6's expression, localization, and molecular interactions via techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation. Dysregulation of INTS6 has been observed in various cancers, including lung, liver, and breast carcinomas, where it often exhibits tumor-suppressive properties. Research using INTS6 (N-Term) antibodies contributes to elucidating its role in transcriptional control, genome stability, and cancer biology, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target or diagnostic marker.
