背景信息

The TPT1 (Tumor Protein Translationally-Controlled 1) antibody is a tool used to study the TPT1 protein, a highly conserved, multifunctional molecule encoded by the *TPT1* gene. Originally identified as a translationally controlled tumor protein, TPT1 (also called TCTP) is ubiquitously expressed across eukaryotes and plays roles in cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, calcium homeostasis, and stress response. Structurally, it is a small cytoplasmic protein (~19-21 kDa) with a flexible conformation, enabling interactions with diverse binding partners like microtubules, Bcl-2 family proteins, and mTOR pathway components.
