The C5a receptor 2 (C5AR2. also known as GPR77 or C5L2) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that binds complement component C5a, a potent inflammatory mediator generated during complement system activation. Initially considered a "decoy receptor" due to its inability to trigger classical G protein signaling, C5AR2 has emerged as a key modulator of immune and inflammatory responses.
