CD335. also known as NKp46. is a cell surface receptor primarily expressed on natural killer (NK) cells, a subset of innate lymphoid cells critical for antiviral and antitumor immunity. It belongs to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family, which includes NKp30 and NKp44. and is encoded by the *NCR1* gene in humans.
